If ur interested go to rockstar.msn.com/ and check out the performances so far. To date, they've each performed twice. During voting hours you can vote online. This show is being shown now in the US, Canada, Australia, and Asia. Why not Europe/UK??? IMO, there's one singer that stands out and makes the show worth watching...Lucas Rossi from Canada...he's mysterious, captivating, unique, and has major stage presence, he's very natural onstage...oh yeah, he can sing too! He's my absolute favorite, even if he is getting the rap of having an ego. His toughest comptetition is Toby from Australia...I like him a lot too. My favorite girl is Storm Large...she looks like an older Lindsay Lohan, it's eerie! I don't know why, but everyone seems to love Dilana...her voice is beyond raspy and she's a bit frightening. Other than that, everyone is talented in their own way, and I can see the potential of each rocker...

This show was created and produced by Mark Burnett, yet another Brit! He brought us Survivor and The Apprentice and others. I saw an interview of him a long time ago and he said he doesn't believe in humiliating people...he didn't name any names...(Amer. Idol?) but I like his style...very mature and respectful...don't get me wrong, I like the humiliating stuff too (those awful auditions!)
What's going on with the X factor...I was kinda jealous hearing about that cuz I thought it sounded very entertaining

The x factor was more about the Judges Simon Cowell arguing with Sharon Osbourne and Irish music guru Louis walsh u didnt miss much the 1st winner is working in McDonalds ;D
We dont seem to have much talent over here only a couple of acts are still around shame we cant have someone as sucessful as the amazing Kelly Clarkson

Okay, so the thing is when I grew up the UK had a huge influence on me ;D (and the rest of the US--lots of radio play)...I grew up listening to The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Electronic, Erasure, Yaz(oo), When in Rome, Information Society, EMF, Jesus Jones, Oasis! I may be leaving out a few more...Billy Idol, etc... I even love the Spice Girls! And Sarah Brightman. Orbital and other electronica. Nowadays I don't hear about anyone, except James Blunt, Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield...and nowadays you can't even hear their accents [when they sing], so everyone over here thinks theyre American (I thought Daniel B was for the longest time ![:-[](http://img400.imageshack.us/img400/9233/iconredfacepo1.gif) ) I think that's the reason why Cat is getting a bad rap from a few ignorant folks...there hasn't been enuf exposure ![:(](http://img344.imageshack.us/img344/2010/iconsadco7.gif) and on a recent washingtonpost online website someone made an ignorant comment about Cat, somethng along the lines of why are the british judging American shows when they gave us the Spice Girls? ![>:(](http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/8649/iconevildg1.gif) Little does that person know that the shows they are watching were created by you guys over yonder. Enuf ranting for one day ![:-/](http://img346.imageshack.us/img346/3975/iconneutralii2.gif)

Enuf ranting for one day ![:-/](http://img346.imageshack.us/img346/3975/iconneutralii2.gif) It's alot more difficult for British musicians to break America mainly because there Lazy lol They dont like the hard work of winning a new audience over and plaing small venues when they can do sell out concerts in Europe also the UK music scene is flooded with American bands making it difficult for new talent to break through ![:(](http://img344.imageshack.us/img344/2010/iconsadco7.gif)

R U watching?
Since my first post, Dilana (the south african from texas) is growing on me...i'm a sucker for people with good personalities (i watch the stuff that goes on in the house, their interactions w/each other)...although her voice is still not my fave...
R they showing the stuff that's going on in the house on tv there in uk? for us, it's only online thru their site (b-cuz last season that part of the show got such low ratings here in us).
