Ah yes, that would cause some confusion. For a couple weeks, there were two shows per night, back-to-back. I would have thought to call them one show, but they were probably named as separate episodes. Of course, I haven't downloaded these episodes to check for myself, but that's my best guess.
I don't how many unique episodes there have been because some of the 2-hour nights had repeats for the first episode. The only way to know for sure is to look through my recordings.

You have a monthly limit on your broadband usage?!? I've heard of that for web hosting, but not for downloading. At least not here in the U.S. anyway. Is that how they sell service in the U.K., like 3 gigs per month?
I just read an article in Maximum PC where a guy switched from cable to DSL after his cable internet provider complained that he was using excessive download bandwidth. Their definition of "excessive" was something like 2 gigs per day.
Anyway, back to your original question on how many episodes there have been, I just examined my recordings to find out. It turns out that 7 unique episodes have been aired on my local Fox channel. Until now, I was a bit confused because the audition shows were aired twice. I'm not counting the repeats.
*** SYTYCD Season 2 episodes as of 06/17/2006 ***
Week 1 2x01 Season Premiere - Auditions: New York, Charleston (2 hours)
Week 2 2x02 Auditions: LA (1 hour) 2x03 Auditions: Chicago (1 hour)
Week 3 2x04 Choreography: Vegas (1 hour) 2x05 Eliminations: Vegas (1 hour)
Week 4 2x06 Top 10 men and 10 women (2 hours) 2x07 Top 10 Eliminations (1 hour)

Yes, 1 boy and 1 girl were eliminated from the show, leaving 18 contestants. My TV guide for this week says there will be two new shows this week (2x08 and 2x09, I guess). Wednesday will be a 2-hour Top 9 Couples, and then Thursday will be a 1-hour Elimination.
So if you're over your broadband usage for the month, how are you reading this forum?

Don't feel too bad... I'm on a 28.8 modem. Got really spoiled when I had high-speed Internet... used to download stuff left and right.
