I love 24, without trace, cold case, ER, third Watch, sleeper cell, buffy,Angel,Tru Callin (gutted it got Cancelled),Alias and Ghost Wisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt which Started last week. Can anyone from the US recommend any other similar shows i might want to see?

I don't watch many dramas on the tube, but for a while when it first started I got into Without a Trace. Then for a short time I was into Law and Order: SVU (stands for Special Victims Unit)...that was really good. (I spend most my time these days watchin movies or reality tv!)
I hear that everyone loves House these days, a sort of fantastical medical drama starring a Brit who does a great American accent. And also Medium with Patricia Arquette as a psychic who sees dead people or sumpthin.

US rip offs... UK Pop Idol. US American Idol (obvious one) UK Who wants 2b a millionaire. US Same name UK The weakest link. US same name UK The office. US same name UK Coupling. US same name--bombed, big time! (didnt even finish playing 1st season) UK Hustle. US Heist--but they play the original version on cable tv here.

do you think Cat might appear on any of the shows in LA?
i am hopeless with geography would it be too far for Cat to go an appear on shows in NY??
The only other show i could think of is CD:USA as Cat used to present the UK version and is friends with the exc producer who i heard moved to the US to make CD:US
she might appear as SYTYCD is aimed at a similar audience

new york is just a few hours away by plane...not sure if she'll be on cuz the show (sytycd) is more than half way thru...UNLESS, they want to promote the big finale, maybe, but it's wishful thinking, i'll keep my eyes and ears open. (i've been hangin out in the magazine aisle looking thru tabs, and no sign of cat...seems you have to be dating someone famous or living a crazy life to get in there ) yes, the new host of CD:USA was interviewed on fox last week, maybe it's on http://www.myfoxla.com...they mentioned cat's name very briefly...

tv host/presenters aren't big stars at all, only the ones who have been on tv or movies, or are currently actors or radio djs (Ryan), or have other tv shows (Regis), etc...but you don't hear about the guy from the Amazing Race or the Bachelor...
plus everyone is fixated on just a few celebs these days, tom n katie, angelina and brad, britney and her antics, k-fed, her "loser" husband...and now christie brinkley and her cheatin' hubby is everywhere!

so if Cat wants to get in US magazines she will either have to become a huge Hollywood actress or start dating someone famous lol
over here we have 3 levels of celebs
level 1
is your US actors/actresses and big musicians like Brad pitt Angelina and Justin Timberlake
Level 2
is TV stars like Cat and young British actors actresses and pop bands
Level 3 are reality TV stars who are famous for 5 minutes ;D

slightly off topic, sorry... there's an embarrasing reality show on mtv called the hills with kristin cavalerie (probably WAY off on the spelling!) she seems to be the most popular reality tv star here...the show is soooo boring, their conversation is VAPID, INANE, USELESS! and they say "like" almost every other word...gives Californians like me a bad name like, i don't talk like that...like, are you serious? that is like, so lame, oh my god, really? like, i don't date smart guys cause their, like, way too geeky and stuff. like, totally. yeah.
