yep. but occasionally someone will say "postal code".
just heard Cat say "nice frock" to a dancer on sytycd...i kinda knew what she meant, but i still looked it up on wikipedia! yep, i knew where she was going with that!

i think so, not a beer drinker, but sounds very familiar. we also say 40 for a 40oz beer...also do u have kegs? (big barrels of beer)...college parties are sometimes called keggers. when i was in the army i tried a keg stand once--people assist u as you do a handstand on it and drink upside down from the hose! it's totally lame, but i couldn't resist at the time!

we do have kegs people used to drink a yard of ale in the quickest time couldnt tell you how much beer is in a yard!

I have heard a lot of brits on american shows say "sodding" . What does that mean? And if it is a curse word, I want to say sorry for my language ahead of time.

Also, i forgot, Where do Brits say they are from when asked? UK, United Kingdom, Britain, Great Britian, England......? And are you english, british, a brit.......?

ok ... UK and Britain are both England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland (there is a difference with ireland) so really we just say which country of the four we are from

great britain or britain is england scotland wales, uk is england scotland wales and northen ireland(republic of ireland although connected to northen ireland is not part of it)
