You British are weird!! We do call a pavement a sidewalk, you also call soda 'Pop' or whateva!! you call cell phones 'mobile' phones and pants 'trousers'!!
I've been to the UK 5 times in my life and I've had people not understanding me, even though i'm speaking English!!

you have a different word for the Motorway i think but cant think what it is Eric, we call them Highways!!!

Kristianxx i always laugh when in America tv/film they say take off your Pants meaning trousers, as Pants means your underwear in the uk ;D

Why do you only call chocolate chip cookies, "cookies(uk)" ? There are a lot of different types of cookies(us) besides chocolate chip. Or is that all you have like that in the uk? Sorry if that was confusing.

Can u explain why on GMA they call Cat a "Contributer" and on the Jay Leno show when she did a report for his show they called her a "Correspondant" whats the difference?
In the Uk Cat would be called a Reporter or Presenter lol

correspondant over here is normally used for more serious news stuff like the gmtv newshour, itv news etc
for more entertainment stuff its usually reporter for those outside the studio
